Mid Shift 12-8 and Evening 3P-11P or 4P-12A One weekend day (with one week day off)
$16.00-16.75
5 days/40 hours, but we do have overtime available on occasion as well.
Prerequisites:
- Education or Training—Some college preferred but not required
- Experience—Two years’ experience in hospitality workers, retail workers, and other positions, so call center experience is nice but not necessary
- Special Skills and Personality Traits—Excellent communication and organizational skills; good listening skills; problem-solving & decision-making skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to multi-task; strong spelling and proofreading skills
- CSR in a 24/7 call center environment for a national insurance adjusting company.
- Incoming calls from various contacts for branch locations will be handled or transferred to voicemail.
- Primarily handles accident loss reports for various insurance companies: taking the details of the loss, assigning the most appropriate branch location for immediate response if needed, coordinating on-scene calls between adjusters and clients.
- The atmosphere is quick to change from very slow/quiet to highly charged, with high-stress situations that need quick decisions.
- MUST have the ability to work closely with others as a group.
- Ability to make split-minute decisions; the ability to distinguish between a critical situation that needs immediate attention and a run of the mill call about a policy question or simple follow up question.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written, verbal and listening skills. Basic computer skills and experience using a multi-line phone (logging into a CSR phone queue, placing people on hold, transferring calls) are a definite plus.
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
Flexible shifts available in the call center but in most cases one weekend day is required.
